Some say that learning another language allows you to live another life. But I feel that you are living YOUR life, in all its unique layers. A mille feuille of experiences. I love following along.

Please Jill come to New Orleans, LA.!

So many venues here from the most intimate to larger arenas, (i.e House Of Blues (Jamie Culum & Norah Jones played there), Toulouse Theatre, Tipitina's, Snug Harbor, Maple Leaf, d.b.a, Chickie Wah Wah, The Maison, Spotted Cat, Three Muses, The Bombay Club). Obviously New Orleans is a foodie and music city.

You would be a natural here, after all this is the oldest European city in the USA, founded by the French in 1718. Many people here still speak French and our food is primarily French in origin.

C'est bien, non?

You could easily appear during the French Quarter fest usually in April every year.

Or during the Bastille Day Fest held all over the city during July every year.

Just read your piece, Jill. Well written and sheds some background on your ‘French phase’. I wondered where that came from and now I know.

Nicole Lachance
